Que notable el video... Claramente, si existiesen comerciales sobre productos científicos, al menos no seríamos vistos como "inexistentes" a nivel de opinión pública (quién sabe lo que es un ingeniero biotécnologo molecular???)... aunque seríamos vistos como freaks, claramente.

I discussed the idea a few weeks ago here
There is a more deep idea in this (I'll drop a few lines in english now). A good friend of me, who is a Visual artist and Designer, told me about discussions in Europe about bringing closer to each other the worlds of science and art. As Maturana said, "Science is the Art of explaining", and languague is very important in such a task, but we, scientits, forget about that and we are very loose and weak in our power to communicate (I think it's a deformation of our hard training in writing papers).
Ideas like this commercial are interesting not just for the fun, but also because they are an expression of a different languague in science... and we can, indeed, explain some phenomena with other words, in order to teach to other non-scientist people.
